Brandon Moss is Director of Choirs at Central Crossing High School in Grove City, Ohio. Now in his fifteenth year of teaching, he has previously taught middle school and high school choir at Westfall Local Schools, Three Rivers Local Schools, and Dover City Schools. Moss is also Music Director and Director of Chalice Choir at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus. He has directed, assistant-directed, and worked with several other community, school, and church choirs in Central Ohio, including at Boulevard Presbyterian Church, The Magpie Consort, Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, Clintonville Community Choir and Otterbein University. Moss is President of the Ohio Choral Directors Association and has served on the state board since 2011. He is also a leader within the Ohio Music Education Association, having served as President of District 15, twice as chair of the All-State Chorus, and as an adjudicator. An active performer, he often sings as a soloist and chorister in Central Ohio, having most recently sung with the Columbus Symphony Chorus and Fior Angelico. Moss holds the Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from The Ohio State University and the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Otterbein University, and he is currently working to complete the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting from The Ohio State University. He resides in Dublin, Ohio with his husband Josh and their miniature schnauzer Miles.
